The entire space in what became a contemporary farmhouse bedroom was stripped back to a shell, beams exposed and the ceiling vaulted. Half of the space was part of the original house, the other a modern extension.

The layout was designed with the bathroom in the modern extension due to the weight of the bath on the floor joists. The central bath enjoys views of the garden from the lowered window that is framed by his & hers basins.

It was decided that equal space was given to the bathroom and bedroom to create a luxurious suite.

The lighting has been designed for a spa-like ambience throughout the light and airy suite.
