The leisure facilities at Imagine Spa were starting to look dated and during lockdown, we had the opportunity to look at the interior design of the swimming pool area and changing rooms.
We put together a new scheme for the swimming pool area adding a canopy in front of the sauna and steam room to enable a lower layer of lighting to be installed. Luxurious warm browns and creams were used mixing metallics and matt finishes to create a relaxing spa area.
The male changing rooms were completely redesigned with a new layout that reflects the needs of the members with bespoke lockers and seating areas as well as WC facilities. The colour palette reflects the swimming pool with the addition of teal. The ladies’ changing room is currently on the drawing board and a full refurbishment will be completed in 2024.
The decoration in the gym was refreshed with the introduction of feature walls to frame the architectural details and views across the Norfolk countryside. This breaks up the vast open-plan area.
